movie hit Barbie has a sardonic joke placed on one of sci-fi master Zack Snyder’s films. A producer warned the director about the scene.
Sometimes you’re the windshield, and sometimes you’re the mosquito. That goes for mocking jokes, among other things – and for sci-fi expert Zack Snyder (Rebel Moon). In the cinema highlight Barbie, a joke is aimed at the hype surrounding Zack Snyder’s Justice League. The director was warned about the gloating before going to the movies
Sci-fi director Zack Snyder likes the Barbie joke at his expense
In one scene in Barbie, Barbie (Margot Robbie) and her co-stars are able to free themselves from the yoke of the Kens. One of them then describes her trance during the oppression, saying “it was like a dream where I was extremely interested in the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League.”
Speaking to Men’s Health, Snyder now says:
“[The Barbie producers] gave us a heads up and were like, ‘There’s a reference to Justice League in the movie. I hope you guys get it. We think it’s pretty funny.”

Snyder went to see the movie and was thrilled. He thought Barbie was great and the joke was pretty good, said the director. Incidentally, he agrees that the joke is not directed against him, but against the extreme hype surrounding his cut of the DC film.
As Snyder suggests, the connection between his character and the cultural phenomenon of the Snyder Cut itself is uncanny to him. He describes it as “madness” that leaves him asking, “What did we do? What happened?”
The bot scam on Zack Snyder’s Justice League wasn’t just extremely damaging to DC
