The Kitchen is set in 2044 London, where social housing has been abolished and defiant slum dwellers like Izi (Kane Robinson) and Benji (Jedaiah Bannerman) wage war against a brutal police force.
In the first trailer, The Kitchen promises a claustrophobic atmosphere, tough action scenes and a simmering atmosphere that could explode at any moment. The film was directed by Kibwe Tavares and Daniel Kaluuya (Black Panther).
