As Games Workshop, the home of Warhammer 40,000, has revealed on its official site, the contracts with Amazon are in the bag. Twelve months after the initial announcement, the project has the green light from all sides and can now enter the development phase with several scriptwriters.

The deal gives Amazon exclusive rights to the Warhammer 40,000 movie and series adaptations. Games Workshop hopes that this will attract more attention for its own brand. Cavill and Co. are expected to tap into target groups that have had no previous contact with the game
