Fans had to wait many years to see the first X-Men in the MCU. However, Patrick Stewart’s surprise return as Professor X was frustrating for the star
Marvel fans are currently eagerly awaiting the launch of Deadpool 3. The multiverse spectacle promises countless appearances by well-known superheroes from the X-Men films, who will be seen in the MCU canon for the first time. One iconic mutant kicked things off back in 2022.
We are, of course, talking about Charles Xavier. Multiverse of Madness surprised with a whole series of cameo appearances that took place as part of a journey into the alternate reality of Earth-838. Many fans were frustrated by the handling of popular characters, however, as they were all wiped out after a few minutes by Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen). Peggy Carter actress Hayley Atwell has also criticized this.
However, the gruesome death of Charles Xavier does not mean that we will never see the X-Men legend again – after all, the character has already died several times. In his interview, Patrick Stewart also hinted at a possible appearance in Deadpool 3: “Something has come up. There was a process. “
