In the Accutron podcast, Coppola said:
In a few months [the movie] will be released. I love the actors that are in it. [Megalopolis] is unusual and never boring. Otherwise, just wait and see, you’ll see.
Little is known about the movie’s story so far. It is said to revolve around an architect who wants to rebuild New York as a giant utopian city after a disaster. Among many other stars, Megalopolis will feature Adam Driver (Star Wars 7), Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix) and Dustin Hoffman (The Graduate). It is not yet known exactly when Megalopolis will be released. Although filming has been finished for a while, it is difficult to estimate how much post-production work will be required. We are assuming a start in summer 2024
