Cast for Abby in The Last of Us season 2 confirmed
As Sky announced in a press release, Kaitlyn Dever has been cast as Abby for season 2 of the zombie horror. The actress is best known for the comedy Booksmart.
In the second part of The Last of Us game series, Abby is an experienced soldier who embarks on a vendetta for very personal reasons. This leads to a dramatic event in the original, which will not be revealed at this point.
In the video game, Abby was played by Laura Bailey, who, according to Forbes, was flooded with a wave of hate comments after the game’s release, including death threats. Many fans already feared that Kaitlyn Dever could suffer a similar fate as a result of her role in season 2 of the HBO series.
