Will there be a 2nd season of Ahsoka?
Ahsoka season 2 is in development. This was officially confirmed by Disney on January 9, as reported by IGN . In addition, it is only known that Dave Filoni will also develop the sequel.
Lead actress Rosario Dawson revealed to The Hollywood Reporter back in September 2022: “Hopefully we’ll get a sequel!” Shortly before the start of the series, she reiterated this hope to Entertainment Weekly.
I would be very excited and grateful if there’s more [Ahsoka]. Every time I step into the role, I learn more about her. I get to experience [on the show] what I could never experience [in my life], and I feel like I’m getting better at it.
When will Ashoka season 2 start on Disney+?
It is not yet known when season 2 will start on Disney+. The seasons of the Star Wars real-life series are usually in production for one to two years. There are also unplanned delays. So we shouldn’t expect any new episodes of Ahsoka before 2025

What happens at the end of Ahsoka season 1?
Season 1 of Ahsoka has an open ending. Grand Admiral Thrawn steers the Chimaera towards the planet Dathomir, home of the Night Witches. The villain doesn’t know that Ezra is on board. Ezra sneaks off and is reunited with Hera and Chopper on a New Republic cruiser.
Ahsoka, Sabine and Huyang have not made the jump to Thrawn’s ship and return to the Noti on Peridea. Shin is also there and becomes the leader of the Nomads. Baylan, her former master, scales a stone monument to the Mortis gods, while Anakin’s Force ghost watches over Ahsoka.
How does the story continue in Ahsoka season 2?
Thrawn’s plan is no secret: he wants to bring back the Empire and is using the dark magic of the Night Witches to do so. The New Republic must now fear zombie stormtroopers, among other things. The greatest Star Wars story since the sequel trilogy unfolds before our eyes in Ahsoka. Series creator Dave Filoni could now even incorporate elements from the original Thrawn trilogy.
