This feast for the senses also impresses with spectacular booby traps and slow-motion action, which the producers and other crew members of John Wick: Chapter 4 were involved in creating.
On March 28, Silent Night will be released on 4K , Blu-ray and DVD and can already be pre-ordered on Amazon.
Silent Night has an ingenious twist
For many, movies have become audiobooks when Netflix and the like are simply running on the side. And thanks to the completely narrated dialog, you can follow many films without actually watching them. John Woo doesn’t play along and focuses on what makes cinema unique: the visual language. Silent Night manages completely without dialog. This is not only an ingenious twist, but also brings out the emotions in a completely different way.

The Hong Kong director explained to Vulture why he decided against dialog:
‘So I could tell the story with images to show how the character feels. We use music instead of language. And the movie consists only of images and sounds.
In The Body of the Enemy, Woo already showed what it looks like when wild shootouts are combined with music, and there he chose a successful contrasting program with Somewhere over the Rainbow.
