Such farewells, accompanied by hymns of praise, are usually an occasion for award ceremonies to bid a fitting farewell.

Better Call Saul still came away empty-handed at the 2023 Emmys last night, setting a negative record as the series with the most Emmy nominations without a win, as industry site Deadline notes. You read that right: Six seasons and 53 nominations later, Better Call Saul has not won a single Emmy. Neither Bob Odenkirk nor Rhea Seehorn have been rewarded for their performances.
