After Morbius was released in cinemas two years ago, it is now conquering the TV schedule thanks to today’s free TV premiere on ProSieben. It tells the story of the birth of a dangerous Marvel character who balances on the fine line between good and evil: Dr. Michael Morbius (Jared Leto) transforms into a vampire.
Morbius is part of the Marvel universe, which also includes characters such as Venom and Madame Web. This raises the question of whether we can also look forward to Morbius 2 with Jared Leto in the future. Last but not least, the highly confusing end credits scene links the character to a number of other Marvel characters
Will there be a second part of Morbius?
No, very probably not. The first part failed twice at the box office. What’s more, neither the critics nor the audience were impressed by the dark Marvel spectacle. Since the financially disappointing cinema release two years ago, there has been no update from Sony on a potential Morbius 2.
Instead, we will soon see Jared Leto as the lead actor in another well-known film series. He is currently in front of the camera for the long-awaited sequel Tron 3. After failing with his Marvel debut, we can’t wait to see if he succeeds in saving Disney’s troubled sci-fi series

Tron 3, also known as Tron: Ares and with the working title Velcro, has been filming since the beginning of the year.
