Netflix star in Game of Thrones mode: Millie Bobby Brown becomes a warrior princess
Damsel is set in a fairytale kingdom that Elodie (Brown) is soon to inherit: She is to marry Prince Henry (Nick Robinson). But before they can live happily ever after, her husband throws her into a dark hole to sacrifice her to a dragon. However, the young almost-bride has no intention of ending up in a reptile’s stomach.
The Netflix fantasy comes from director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, who is ending a long break from cinema. More than ten years ago, the 28 Weeks Later director last brought Intruders to the big screen.
When is Damsel coming to Netflix?
Damsel will be released on Netflix on March 8, 2024. In addition to Brown and Robinson, Robin Wright (House of Cards) will also be seen in front of the camera. The screenplay was written by Dan Mazeau (Fast & Furious 10).
