Infiltration (in the original: Invasion) revolves around the invasion of an alien race, which is seen through the eyes of various actors on different continents. Some fight the invaders by force of arms, others try to understand their language or their mysterious technology.

According to a press release from Apple TV+, the streaming service has ordered a third season of Infiltration. Filming is scheduled to begin in February 2024. Details about the story are not yet known.
The man behind Infiltration is X-Men veteran Simon Kinberg, who, according to the Hollywood Reporter was able to secure a gigantic budget of 200 million US dollars for season 1. Despite the financial outlay, far too few sci-fi fans are familiar with the series.
