The beginning of the end of a Star Wars series that follows on directly from Episode III and The Clone Wars begins tomorrow on Disney+. There are 3 episodes to kick things off.

The story of The Bad Batch takes place during the events of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. The future Emperor Palpatine proclaims Order 66, which orders the destruction of the Jedi. However, Clone Unit 99 defies the murderous order. This is because the troops are not the usual servile clone soldiers, but genetically mutated clones. As a result, Unit 99, a.k.a. The Bad Batch, is on the run from the Empire’s henchmen.

In the 3rd and final season, the group fights to free friend and fellow clone Omega from an Imperial lab. According to the official synopsis (via Slash Film ), you can expect “unexpected alliances” and, of course, “dangerous missions”. The trailer also reveals a reunion with Clone Wars villain Asajj Ventress.
