Reacher star Alan Ritchson thought acting wasn’t necessary for a Marvel role
In an interview with Men’s Health , the actor spoke about how he didn’t take auditioning for the Marvel role seriously at the time:
‘I thought, ‘They’ll throw me the part if I look like the guy; nobody really cares about acting.’
It wasn’t quite that simple after all and Ritchson’s team received feedback from Marvel Studios that the superhero part would not go to the star. Instead, Chris Hemsworth was cast as the god of thunder
