Netflix expands its Korean repertoire with Chicken Nugget
Chicken Nugget revolves around machine dealer Choi Seon-man (Seung-Ryong Ryu), to whose store a mysterious machine is delivered one day. Curious, Seon-man’s daughter Min-ah (Yoo-jung Kim) tries out the machine. And is transformed into a chicken nugget. With the help of his trainee Baek-joong (Jae-hong Ahn), her father desperately tries to restore her human form.
The series is based on the Korean web comic of the same name by artist Park Ji-dok, who is also known by the acronym PJD. Especially after the huge success of Squid Game, the repertoire of Korean series and films plays a major role for Netflix.
When is Chicken Nugget coming to Netflix?
Chicken Nugget is coming to Netflix on March 15, 2024. The series will comprise a total of 12 episodes. The comic original consists of 47 entries. It is not known whether it has been fully adapted for Netflix.
