According to The Sun, several insider sources have reported that Cillian Murphy is the current preferred candidate for the next Bond role. Allegedly, 007 producer Barbara Broccoli already had him in mind last year. Murphy’s Oscar win with Oppenheimer has now boosted his Hollywood status even further, which makes him all the more recommended for the secret agent role.
