It’s been over two years since the 2nd season of Bridgerton went online at Netflix. In just under a month, the 3rd season of the romantic historical series will finally be available on the streaming service, for which a trailer has now been released. The preview is quite extensive and tells us which love story will be at the center of the season in the new episodes

Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) is ready to finally put her crush on longtime pal Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) behind her. After all, she heard him say in the season 2 finale in front of his brothers that he would never think of going out with her. So Penelope now wants to look elsewhere for a suitable husband – and gets help from Colin himself, of all people, who has just returned from his summer travels.

It becomes more than clear in the trailer that Colin is beginning to question his feelings for Penelope. After many tears, will Penelope find happiness in love with Colin after all? Or has she managed to get over her childhood crush after all these years?
Season 3 of the Netflix hit adapts the novel Romancing Mister Bridgerton by Julia Quinn. A number of new faces await us. These include Daniel Francis (Once Upon a Time) as Marcus Anderson, Sam Phillips (The Crown) as Lord Debling, James Phoon (Wreck) as Harry Dankworth and Hannah Dodd (Eternals) as Francesca Bridgerton. Dodd will replace Ruby Stokes, who played the character in the first two seasons.
When is Bridgerton season 3 coming to Netflix?
The first part of Bridgerton season 3 will start with four episodes on Netflix on May 16, 2024. Part two will follow on June 13, 2024 with four more episodes.
