What exactly the story of the movie will look like is not yet known. As Knight explains in an NME interview, viewers will go through a whole range of emotions:
[fans will be] shocked and thrilled and terrified. And then thrilled and shocked again. […] We will start shooting in September. It’s going to be a big step forward, and it’s great that fans can come together in one place and watch the movie. The budget is bigger. Cillian is on fire. So I can’t wait
Knight’s description doesn’t sound like all good news for Tommy Shelby’s entourage. Nevertheless, many fans will be eagerly awaiting the movie: After all, it’s been almost two years since the Netflix launch of the sixth season in this country.
