At first glance, Silo and Fallout have a few things in common. While the events surrounding the underground Vaults only make up part of the video game adaptation, the Apple TV+ sci-fi series focuses entirely on the claustrophobic setting. And compared to the Silo, the Fallout Vaults are a joke.
The titular silo is a 144-storey deep concrete colossus that houses the last 10,000 people on Earth. Nobody knows how long they have been there and what event brought their ancestors underground. But one thing is certain: the air on the earth’s surface is toxic and absolutely deadly.
