In February, Apple launched the new sci-fi series Constellation about Noomi Rapace as a traumatized astronaut. After the end of season 1, the end of the series is now certain

Apple’s streaming service has now become a lavish collection point for a wide variety of sci-fi series. In addition to productions such as Silo, Foundation and Severance, Constellation was also launched on Apple TV+ this year. However, the science fiction series with stars such as Noomi Rapace (Blinded) and Jonathan Banks (Breaking Bad) will not be continued after just one season

Sci-fi series canceled: This is what Constellation is about

As the Hollywood Reporter reports, Apple has already canceled Constellation after season 1. All eight episodes were released week-to-week and have been available in full on the Apple TV+ subscription for six weeks.

Have you read it yet? Hollywood is afraid of the most exciting sci-fi film of the year – but it’s already coming to Germany for sure

Constellation revolves around astronaut Jo, who returns to Earth after an accident in space. There she realizes that parts of her life have apparently changed. While she is haunted by nightmarish hallucinations, she has to find out whether her reality is really slipping away from her or whether there is a bigger secret behind it.

Official streaming figures for Apple TV+ are generally not published. However, Constellation does not seem to have caught on among the provider’s now large sci-fi selection. Apple has not given a reason for the cancellation
