In addition to the Rebel Moon universe, Zack Snyder has also developed the new animated series Twilight of the Gods for Netflix. A first teaser has now been released that promises brutal action
Since Zack Snyder switched from the DC universe to Netflix, the director has had his work cut out for him. After Army of the Dead, which was supposed to kick off a larger franchise, this year he has created the next prelude to an entire sci-fi universe with the two Rebel Moon parts.
Snyder has also developed the upcoming animated series Twilight of the Gods for the streaming service. The first video has now been released, teasing the mix of 300 and Vikings based on Norse mythology with gods such as Thor, Odin and Loki. Vikings fans should take a look:

Viking action on Netflix: This is what Twilight of the Gods is all about
The plot of the animated series revolves around a royal couple who want to get married in a small Viking village. However, the planned wedding is shattered by a terrible event. Afterwards, the bride Sigrid (Sylvia Hoeks) seeks revenge and gathers a team of various creatures – such as a seer and a dwarf – to challenge one of the gods.
Zack Snyder, who developed Twilight of the Gods as producer and writer and directed two episodes, has already talked about a lot of sex that will be featured in the series. What’s more, the first teaser already makes it clear that the Netflix production will feature some really bloody action.
