Watch the Yellowstone announcement of the final episodes of season 5
A lot has happened since the end of the first part of season 5: Yellowstone went into crisis in the dispute between Kevin Costner and series creator Taylor Sheridan. A year ago, the sudden end of the successful series was declared with season 5. The upcoming episodes will therefore be the last before the sequel series continues the story of the surviving family members in 2024. The prequel series 1883 and 1923 also extend the Duttons’ Western universe into the past.
The final episodes of Yellowstone will push the conflict within the family, particularly between Jamie (Wes Bentley) and Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly), to boiling point. Not everyone is expected to survive this confrontation. One of them, however, we already know we won’t be seeing again: It is now certain that Kevin Costner will not be returning to Yellowstone. However, it is not yet known how he will be written out of the series without one last appearance
Yellowstone streaming: When does season 5, part 2 start in Germany?
An official German start for season 5b has not yet been announced. In the past, the Yellowstone series always arrived here with some delay and were first shown by Sony AXN and MagentaTV before coming to Paramount+*. It is not known whether this type of release will change with the increased interest in Yellowstone (this year the first 3 seasons came to Netflix, Amazon and RTL+).
Even after Yellowstone ends, fans don’t have to say goodbye to Taylor Sheridan’s Western world completely, as a total of 6 series are soon to be part of the Yellowstone universe
