In the 4th season of The Boys, a scene with the superheroes Deep and Firecracker had to be severely cut. But Amazon has now released the uncut version
Amazon’s superhero satire The Boys always manages to shock and surprise with the wildest and wackiest moments. However, one scene from season 4 would probably have gone beyond the limits of what is tolerable and was therefore severely shortened for broadcast on Prime Video. Now you can finally watch the complete and uncut version of it
The Boys season 4: Firecracker and Deep’s duet is now available in full length
In the 4th episode of episode 4, alt-right heroine Firecracker (Valorie Curry) hosts her six-hour live show Truthbomb with Firecracker with the goal of destroying Starlight’s (Erin Moriarty) reputation. Nevertheless, the show is not without some entertainment. A short excerpt shows us a romantic duet that makes us laugh.
Firecracker and “animal lover” The Deep (Chace Crawford) perform the 80s pop ballad Up Where We Belong together. In episode 4, however, we only saw 10 seconds of it. Now you can watch the two superheroes’ embarrassing vocal performance in full. Can you stand 4.5 minutes of it?
In the most powerful performance since Soldier Boy’s “Rapture” or Supersonic’s “Rock My Kiss,” Firecracker and Deep ascended to new musical heights with “Up Where We Belong.” Watch the full performance, then pray for Firecracker’s full recovery after Starlight’s vicious attack! pic.twitter.com/wA8E4Tyx6N

It’s understandable that there isn’t always room for all the planned scenes in The Boys episodes, each of which is over 60 minutes long. After all, the superhero series juggles a huge ensemble of characters with a wide variety of storylines.
However, sprawling music sequences are almost a tradition in The Boys. Just at the beginning of season 4, the Amazon series delighted us with a wacky scene from the Christmas musical Vought on Ice, in which Homelander and Jesus performed the song Let’s Put the Christ Back in Christmas
