Stranger Things creators produce Netflix horror about escalating wedding preparations
As Cinema Blend reports, the Duffer brothers are next producing the new horror series Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen for Netflix after the Stranger Things ending. The project comes from showrunner Haley Z. Boston, who most recently wrote an episode for Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities, among others.
In the plot of Something Very Bad is Going to Happen, a bride and her groom prepare for their upcoming wedding. However, the time leading up to their big day is about to be overshadowed by terrible events. The title of the upcoming Netflix series already makes it clear that things are likely to get pretty uncomfortable

When does the Stranger Things finale start on Netflix?
Netflix has not yet announced a specific start date. As filming will continue until the end of the year, a release before 2025 is pretty unlikely. The Duffers’ new horror series is unlikely to be released before 2026
