Sci-fi horror in cinemas: New Alien film returns to its roots
Alien: Romulus revolves around a group of friends, including young Rain (Cailee Spaeny). In order to escape from their gloomy home planet, they want to plunder an abandoned space station in orbit. And there they encounter a gruesome creature that is after their lives.

Director Fede Álvarez (Don’t Breathe) is breaking new ground with Romulus, but also returning to the roots of the franchise: the prequel perspective from Prometheus – Dark Signs and Alien: Covenant, which was the last film in the series in 2017, is officially a thing of the past with Romulus.
