Zeus wants to prevent his downfall: That’s what Netflix’s new fantasy series Kaos is all about
In Kaos, Zeus (Goldblum), the father of the gods on the throne of Greek Olympus, faces an existential crisis when he discovers a wrinkle on his forehead. The external change can only mean one thing for him: his imminent downfall, which must of course be prevented by any means necessary. So he begins to question all his relationships on Mount Olympus and senses deceit behind every word.
However, the fact that his prisoner Prometheus has long since hatched a plan to oust Zeus from his throne has so far passed Zeus by without a trace. A war between the deities is soon unleashed, which also plunges a few unsuspecting and innocent people into ruin.
Behind Kaos is series creator Charlie Covell, who was also responsible for the screenplays for the Netflix hit The End of the F***ing World. Alongside Jeff Goldblum, the fantasy series stars David Thewlis (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban), Janet McTeer (Ozark) and Cliff Curtis (Avatar: The Way of Water), among others.
