Disturbing anime war film coming soon to Netflix: This is what The Last Fireflies is all about

In the story of the film from the famous animation studio Studio Ghibli, Japan is still being ravaged by American bombers in 1945. In the battle of the inferno, fourteen-year-old Seita and four-year-old Setsuko are left to fend for themselves after losing their mother.

Without their father, who has gone to war himself, and with food becoming increasingly scarce, they have to fight for survival in an abandoned bunker.
