From the creators of Death, Love & Robots comes another animated anthology for adults. This time from the worlds of various video games. A first trailer is now available to watch
During Gamescom, Prime Video presented a new anthology series aimed at adult gamers with animated short films. The project is called Secret Level and comes from the creators of the Netflix series Love, Death & Robots. Here is the first trailer, which will probably appeal to fans of the Amazon adaptation of Fallout:
Secret Level brings over 15 video game worlds to Amazon
Season 1 consists of 15 episodes covering the game worlds of Armored Core, Concord, Crossfire, Dugeons & Dragons, Exodus, Horror of Kings, Mega Man, New World: Aeternum, PAC-MAN, Sifu, Spelunky, The Outer Worlds, Unreal Tournament and Wahrammer 40K. One episode is also dedicated to various PlayStation Studios titles.
Amazon MGM Studio boss Vernon Sanders said (via Deadline ):
Secret Level weaves a tapestry of iconic games across multiple mediums to tell a series of unique, compelling stories. Created and led by Tim Miller, Blur Studio and Supervising Director Dave Wilson, each episode will take our global Prime Video customers on a brand new journey of stunning animation and imaginative storytelling.
Has Secret Level unlocked Hollywood star Keanu Reves?
Keanu Reeves, known from cyberpunk films such as Johnny Mnemonic and The Matrix, knows exactly how to log in. He already proved this in the video game Cyberpunk 2077, for which he provided his digital likeness. And his face also appears to be visible in the Armored Core segment of the Secret Level preview. According to JoBlo, his involvement has not been officially confirmed, but it smells a lot like a court case if there has been no deal. Other cast members also remain a mystery
