Bridgerton newcomer Yerin Ha starred in sci-fi hit Halo
The actress started her career in theater in 2019, where she appeared alongside Alice in Wonderland star Mia Wasikowska in a Sydney Theatre production of the classic Lord of the Flies. She made the leap into television with the American-French series Reef Break, in which she had a recurring role.
While her first leading roles followed in the ABC drama Troppo and the horror film Sissy, Ha joined the Steven Spielberg-produced video game adaptation Halo, which premiered in 2022. In it, Ha plays the role of teenager Kwan Ha from the planet Madrigal, who is rescued by Master Chief John-177 (Paul Schreiber) in season 1. In season 2, she is part of the Forerunners alliance, who play a crucial role in the complex sci-fi world.
Miniseries Bad Behavior earned Yerin Ha her first nomination
If you’re not in the mood for sci-fi action but are looking for a narrative that’s at least a little more Bridgerton, it might be worth taking a look at the series Bad Behavior instead. In it, Yerin Ha takes on the role of student Alice, who attends an elite Australian boarding school thanks to a scholarship. With the teachers out of the house, the boarding school becomes a night-time ordeal for destitute students like Alice and Jo (Jana McKinnon), who struggle to get by on the hard pavement.

The four-part miniseries is based on the novel of the same name by Rebecca Starford and premiered at the Berlinale in 2023. Ha was honored for her performance with a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the Logie Awards.
