This Christmas, the hit series Squid Game finally continues. Too late to start a Halloween trend again, but Squid Game fans will still celebrate the long-awaited second season. The trailer for the new episodes is already under the Netflix tree:
It has been three years since the South Korean death game drama series by Hwang Dong-hyuk took Netflix and the world by storm. With 1.65 billion (!) hours streamed, Squid Game is still by far the most-watched Netflix program – ahead of English-language hit series like Stranger Things and Wednesday.

Seong Gi-hun (Jung-Jae Lee) emerged as the winner (and only survivor) of Season 1 and received the exorbitant cash prize of 45.6 billion won – the equivalent of about 32.6 million euros. But player 456 isn’t interested in resting on his blood-soaked wealth: he seeks revenge.
Other Season 1 returnees who were not among the players: police officer Hwang Jun-ho (Wi Ha-joon) and his brother, the ruthless, usually masked frontman (Lee Byung-hun).
