Tulsa King with Sylvester Stallone is another series from the Yellowstone mastermind. In the second season, which is now available to Paramount+, you can’t keep Sly, a mobster from Oklahoma, down.
Hollywood star Sylvester Stallone (Rambo, The Expendables) plays his first leading role in a series in the mafia comedy Tulsa King. To get him on board, Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan had to approach him with a part that was tailor-made for him: Dwight “The General” Manfredi.
After 25 years behind bars, the old-school mob boss had to get used to the modern world in season 1. But even in peaceful Oklahoma, it didn’t take long for him to get mixed up in shady business again. At the end of the season, he was arrested for it. But is the charismatic capo really going back to jail?
After a two-year wait, the answer is now streaming exclusively on Paramount+.
Tulsa King Season 2: Stallone’s crooked series deals in Oklahoma continue
The General cannot be kept away from law enforcement for long, so he and his gang continue to work on expanding his criminal empire in Tulsa. In the new episodes, Dwight even takes on the powerful Kansas City Mafia and an influential businessman. But defending his shady business dealings and protecting his family and crew are not his only jobs. In New York, there is unfinished business from the past that Dwight can no longer put off.
Other leading roles are played by Annabella Sciorra as Dwight’s sister Joanna and Tatiana Zappardino as his estranged daughter Tina. New to the cast of the 2nd season are Frank Grillo as antagonist Bill Bevilaqua and Neil McDonough as businessman Cal Thresher.
