Netflix: These are the most-streamed movies in the first half of 2024
With over 263 million hours streamed, the fantasy film Damsel, starring Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown, is the most-watched Netflix movie in the first half of the current year. The adventure about a damsel in distress who becomes a warrior to stand up to a dragon was only moderately well received by critics. In the Moviepilot community, Damsel only has a rating of 5.9.

There were even bigger surprises in the area of internationally streamed series on Netflix. The top spot was not taken by Bridgerton or even Baby Reindeer, but by a British crime series based on Netflix’s long-running author Harlan Coben. The sci-fi event series 3 Body Problem, on the other hand, only made it to 8th place.
