After a few less than exhilarating experiences in the world of online dating, Noa (Daisy Edgar-Jones), a fun-loving woman looking for a partner, has lost interest in going out.
That changes when she stumbles upon the attractive doctor Steve (Sebastian Stan) in the neighboring supermarket. Sparks fly between the two, and after a few euphoric dates, Steve invites her to his secluded country house for a weekend getaway.

Noa agrees and accompanies Steve to his house – where he promptly knocks her out. Shortly afterwards, she finds herself chained up in his basement.
