The Shaft is still considered one of Netflix’s best sci-fi films today. It will soon be continued with The Shaft 2. A new trailer now unleashes a new level of horror.
The Shaft was a Netflix phenomenon in 2020: Many sci-fi fans liked the grisly vision of a future prison where inmates are supplied with food by a floating platform. But in the high-rise complex, the levels are served one after the other – and the upper levels fill their bellies at the expense of the lower levels. The sequel Shaft 2 now has a new trailer.

In Shaft 2, a civil war rocks the sci-fi prison
Similar to the fight of Goreng (Ivan Masagué) in the predecessor, Shaft 2 is also about a distribution war: At first, the prisoners seem to adhere to a simple rule: everyone eats what they have ordered. But when more and more of them break the rule, a mysterious figure is supposed to ensure order with “terror” in the 333 floors.
