The plot of The Electric State is based on the novel by Simon Stålenhag and revolves around a teenage girl (Millie Bobby Brown) who travels across the USA with her cute robot and a mysterious drifter (Chris Pratt) in search of her younger brother. Before that, the world was devastated by a robot uprising.
Actually, the shooting was completed in 2022, but then there were said to have been various re-shoots, which is why the costs have increased to such a high extent. We will probably soon find out what the result looks like with the first trailer.
