Netflix has released the first teaser for the fifth season of Stranger Things. The big finale will be coming to the streaming service in 2025.

It’s been over two years since the last episodes of Stranger Things were released on Netflix and the battle between Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and supervillain Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) has entered the first round. However, the long wait will soon be over.

Because just in time for the 41st anniversary of Will Byers’ (Noah Schnapp) disappearance on November 6, 1983, Netflix has released the first official teaser, which reveals the start of the fifth and final season and also reveals the official episode titles.

As the teaser confirms, the final eight episodes of Stranger Things will reach us on Netflix in 2025, so next year. This news comes as no surprise, as filming has been in full swing since the beginning of the year and is expected to be completed this year. Despite extensive post-production, the Netflix launch next year can apparently be met.

The fifth season will consist of eight episodes, which, as Stranger Things star Maya Hawke has already explained, are intended to be like eight feature films. The official episode titles of the new episodes are as follows:

The Search
The Disappearance of
The Turnbow Trap
The Wizard
The Electrocution
The Escape from Camaztoz
The Bridge
Back to the Real World
Back to the Real World

That’s what Season 5 of Stranger Things is about

Official details about the content of the final season are still being kept under wraps. In the official press release, Netflix promises that the finale will “clarify all open questions”.

The teaser confirms the already leaked time jump, which is not quite as big as previously assumed. Accordingly, the new episodes will take place in the fall of 1987 – four years after the events of Season 1 and about a year and a half after Season 4.

For better or for worse, we’ll have to wait until 2025 for everything else when the Stranger Things finale starts on Netflix.
