Finally, we know when the second season of The Night Agent is coming to Netflix. Not only has the streamer revealed the official start date, but it has also released a teaser trailer.
The return of The Night Agent is not far away. After Netflix recently delighted fans with the news that the action thriller series is definitely going into a third season, the start of the second season is now being prepared. We have been waiting for the announcement of the start date for months. Now Netflix has let the cat out of the bag.
When does The Night Agent season 2 start on Netflix?
The second season of The Night Agent will be released on Netflix on January 23, 2025. Once again, ten episodes await us, leading us deeper and deeper into a grand conspiracy. The story continues to center on FBI agent Peter Sutherland, played by Gabriel Basso, and there’s plenty of action again.

The Night Agent is based on the novel of the same name by Matthew Quirk. The film adaptation was created by Shawn Ryan, who is also behind series such as The Shield, Timeless and S.W.A.T. The synopsis for the second season of the agent series, published by Netflix via a press release, reads as follows:
“The ten episodes focus on FBI agent Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso), whose previous efforts to save the president now open up the opportunity for him to become a night agent. But working for the mysterious organization Night Action introduces Peter to a world where danger is ever-present and trust is in short supply.”
