An action thriller with Liam Neeson is currently at number 1 in the top 10 films on Netflix. The revenge story is a remake of a Norwegian film from 2014.
Action star Liam Neeson has taken out enemies in a variety of ways since the cult hit 96 Hours. But he wasn’t seen in action with a snowplow (!) until five years ago. In Cold Pursuit, which was released in theaters in 2019 under the title Hard Powder, is exactly that.
The thriller, now back with the original title, is currently at number 1 in the Netflix charts in the top 10 films. Director Hans Petter Moland’s film is the US remake of his own Norwegian film, which is now ten years old.

In the new version, Liam Neeson plays Nels, a snowplow driver whose son is murdered by the local drug mafia after getting involved with them. Nels then begins a merciless revenge campaign that soon plunges the entire small town of Kehoe into bloody chaos.

Netflix hit is the remake of a 10-year-old revenge thriller
If the plot of Cold Pursuit sounds familiar, you probably saw the Norwegian revenge thriller One by One. Hans Petter Moland’s original from 2014, starring Stellan Skarsgård, is the template for the new version, which the director himself once again directed.
