A series in which Keanu Reeves stars as a fighter in a sci-fi war can be seen on Amazon today. The video game adaptation makes even Fallout look small.
Amazon’s Fallout series presented us with a visually stunning video game world in April of this year. But what is coming to the streaming service today exceeds the dimensions of the sci-fi adaptation by more than tenfold: Secret Level implements 15 game universes in 15 episodes. And in one of them, Keanu Reeves wages a bitter war.
Keanu Reeves as a warrior: Amazon series adapts award-winning game franchises
Each episode of Secret Level takes on a different game universe. The games include the following:
Amored Core
Concord
Crossfire
Dungeons & Dragons
Exodus
Horror of Kings
Mega Man
New World: Aeternum
PAC-MAN
Sifu
Spelunky
The Outer Worlds
Unreal Tournament
Warhammer 40K
Fans of the sci-fi franchise Armored Core can look forward to a Keanu Reeves appearance: the digitized star plays the pilot of a gigantic combat robot in a dark conflict between many shady parties.

Reeves is not the only star to at least lend his voice to the characters in the adaptations: the cast of the Amazon series also includes Arnold Schwarzenegger and his son Patrick, among others.
But there are also familiar names behind the camera. The showrunner of the series is Tim Miller, who was also responsible for the Netflix series Love, Death & Robots. As an animated adventure between sci-fi and fantasy, it is along similar lines to Secret Level.
