Director David Yates faced a very big challenge with the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, after all, the fifth novel is by far the most extensive. Harry Potter 5 on Prime: The students are forming an underground movement

Once again, Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) and his friends are on their own, because the Ministry of Magic refuses to believe in the return of Lord Voldemort. A harsh wind also blows at Hogwarts as Dolores Umbridge (Imelda Staunton) uses dictatorial measures to shape the school according to her own ideas.

If the adults won’t stand up for them, the students will have to protect themselves. Harry, Hermione (Emma Watson) and Ron (Rupert Grint) join the Order of the Phoenix to protect themselves from Voldemort and his followers. This is not so easy, because the Dark Lord pursues Harry even in his dreams

Harry Potter 5 adapts the longest novel into the shortest film

At over 1,000 pages, the fifth volume is by far the most extensive part of the series. And of all things, its film adaptation is the shortest at 138 minutes. Fans of the books can hopefully discover the missing elements in the upcoming Harry Potter series. After all, a whole season is to be dedicated to each novel, which means that there is much more running time available.

Ginny actress Bonnie Wright, who appeared in eight films for just 30 minutes, is particularly pleased. It’s no wonder that the love story between her and Harry seemed implausible to many and that Wright faced a lot of criticism. She hopes that the series will take into account the key scenes with Ginny and that the character will get the attention she deserves.
