The thriller series The Madness has been keeping the Netflix charts on tenterhooks for more than a week. Lead actor Colman Domingo will look familiar to many viewers – presumably from his fight against zombies.
“Thank you all for watching. 1 in less than 48 hours! Whoo-hoo!” Colman Domingo recently wrote enthusiastically on Instagram: His hit series had conquered the Netflix charts. However, many fans of The Madness will have seen the star in a major role before that: He appeared in 109 episodes of Fear the Walking Dead

Before Netflix, he fought zombies: These are the biggest roles of The Madness star Colman Domingo
In the The Walking Dead spin-off Fear the Walking Dead, Domingo appeared in 109 episodes from the start in 2015 until the end in 2023. He played the survivalist Victor Strand, who formed a friendship with protagonist Madison (Kim Dickens). However, through cruel decisions, he developed in a rather dark direction towards the end of the series.
Domingo has also been seen often in other films of the gigantic zombie franchise: for example, he appeared in the acclaimed dramas Lincoln and Selma, and he is currently nominated for a Golden Globe as the leading actor in Sing Sing. He has also played Ali in Euphoria for eight episodes so far. His other films include The Color Purple, Rustin and Candyman, among others.
In view of his upcoming roles, he also seems to have a bright future ahead of him: in addition to a voice role in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man as Norman Osborn, he will appear in the Netflix bombast The Electric State and Steven Spielberg’s next sci-fi film.
