A success story seems to be continuing on Netflix: just one day after its release, the streaming service’s most-watched series is also taking the lead in its 2nd season.
You can rely on Squid Game. The second season has only just started on Netflix and already no other series has a chance of securing the top spot among series.
Squid Game is back at the top of Netflix
When it first appeared in 2021, the series Squid Game took a little longer to conquer the top 10 series because the Korean hit first had to get around. Today, the entire Netflix audience is likely to know what the squid game is all about, and so Season 2 leaped to number one among the streamer’s most-watched series just one day after its release on December 26, 2024.

He wants to finally stop the cruel show, which turns children’s games into traps for enormous prize money. Those who have already watched all 7 episodes of the 2nd season of Squid Game and were surprised by the cliffhanger can at least be sure of one thing: Squid Game season 3 is coming in 2025 and will then finally conclude the series.
