For Spider-Man fans with an Amazon Prime subscription, today is a real holiday, because five more movies starring the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man are being uploaded to the online video library.

It’s obviously a great time to be a Spider-Man fan: the new animated series The Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man has just launched on Disney+, and Spider-Man 4, starring Tom Holland, is already in the works. And on Amazon Prime Video, many more movies featuring Peter Parker’s superhero adventures are now available online.

The two Amazing Spider-Man films starring Andrew Garfield were already part of the Prime subscription. Now, five more titles from other iterations have been added, allowing you to host a gigantic Spider-Man marathon.

Spider-Man marathon with X-films on Amazon Prime Video

New to the range is Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy with Tobey Maguire, as well as two films from the current film series with Holland’s Peter Parker. In total, the following Spider films are now available on Prime:

  • Spider-Man (2002)
  • Spider-Man 2 (2004)
  • Spider-Man 3 (2007)
  • The Amazing Spider-Man (2012)
  • The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro (2014)
  • Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)
  • Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019)

If you still want to see Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) after that, you can only find the movie on Amazon for rent or purchase. The same applies to the animated films in the Spider-Verse series about Miles Morales from Sony Animation. This is quite a shame, because they are the best-rated films in the entire franchise by the 8kstreaming community. No Way Home, for example, was given a 7.4 by 2,610 users, and the animated films are even better in the community rating.

Spider-Man: The versatile, multidimensional Marvel spider

Spider-Man was created in the early 1960s for Marvel Comics and has since become one of the most popular hero characters in the world. Not least because the Raimi trilogy at the beginning of the 2000s kicked off the superhero obsession in mainstream pop culture that has lasted for over 20 years. Since then, there have been Spider-people of all stripes and colors in comic books, movies, and TV shows. In the live-action adventures, that’s been a nerd named Peter Parker, who has to learn that with great power comes great responsibility.

While director Raimi skillfully brought his horror and genre sensibilities to the table, the Amazing series mainly thrived on Andrew Garfield’s charm. The current films, meanwhile, nestle against the lush MCU, shine with state-of-the-art effects and are not stingy with references. Like the Spider-Verse films from Sony Animation, they have also been playing with the concept of the multiverse since the last part.
