Reacher star Alan Ritchson couldn’t have made it through season 3 without a particularly important co-star. In an interview, he explained why he believes she even saved the season.
The third season of Reacher started on Amazon Prime Video on February 20 and catapulted fans back into the series action with a bang. But Reacher is not just Alan Ritchson as Jack; it also consists of a whole host of co-stars.
Ritchson is particularly grateful to one very special colleague this season, as he recently revealed.

According to CinemaBlend, the Reacher star can’t stop raving about his colleague Mariah Robinson, better known to fans as Dominique Kohl:
She absolutely saved the entire season. I don’t know who else could have done it. I mean, she was so unbelievably talented and she had the hardest, most difficult lift of the entire season and of any role I’ve ever seen face to face in my career. And she really nailed it.
Spoiler for Reacher Season 3: As we learn in flashbacks, Dominique and Jack were working on a mission to get rid of Xavier Quinn (Brian Tee). When she finally wants to convict him, she is killed, which sends Reacher on a quest for revenge. Ritchson continues:
I have to say, I’ve been in this business for almost 20 years, I’ve worked on many different things, I’ve mastered many different challenges. You know, even with Reacher, there were some moments when we had to dig through pages and pages of complex dialogue with very little time to prepare. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more difficult role as an actor.
In particular, the star refers to episode 4 of the current season, in which the fate of Dominique Kohl is revealed. “This episode is the heart and soul of the entire season,” says Ritchson.
