Alles was zählt preview today: Jennifer tells Ben the whole truth

by Tommy

Jennifer Steinkamp has been keeping a secret at Alles was zählt. But she doesn’t want to lie anymore and tells her brother Ben everything.

A few months ago, Jennifer Steinkamp’s (Kaja Schmidt-Tychsen) life changed radically in “Alles was zählt”: the figure skater found out that her husband Justus Albrecht (Matthias Brüggenolte) had an affair with her former student Charlie (Shaolyn Fernandez).

Jenny sought revenge and is out of control because of her husband’s betrayal. In her rage, she sets the ice rink on fire and it burns down completely. Justus was in the rink at the time and died just a few days later from his injuries. Jenny confessed to her mother Simone (Tatjana Clasing), who wanted to protect her daughter at all costs. Now Jenny’s half-brother is to be told about her crime.

Simone slapped Jenny in desperation and regrets it afterwards. When her daughter comes home, Simone tries to apologize. But Jenny sees through the pretense and reproaches Simone: “You want Dad to think that I’ve forgiven you so that he can forgive you.” At the same time, she tells her mother point-blank that she and Luisa are moving out.

When Simone tries to stop her daughter from moving out, Ben (Jörg Rohde) also overhears the argument. He later confronts his half-sister Jennifer and wants to know what happened between the two women. “I don’t want to be like them. I want to admit to my mistakes. I set the ice rink on fire. I’m to blame for Justus’ death,” Jennifer suddenly confesses.
