The Big Bang Theory fans have something to look forward to: the new Young Sheldon series spin-off finally has a start date on ProSieben. And it’s not far off.
The Big Bang Theory has become the basis for an entire franchise with four series produced or planned. One of them is now finally coming to Germany for the first time: the Young Sheldon spin-off Georgie & Mandy will be shown on ProSieben from May.
When does ProSieben show the The Big Bang Theory spin-off Georgie & Mandy?
As reported by DWDL, ProSieben will air a double episode of the spin-off weekly starting May 5 at 8:15 p.m. Thanks to good ratings in the US, the number of episodes was increased from 13 to 22.
Georgie & Mandy is a spin-off of the spin-off: as an offshoot, the series follows on directly from Young Sheldon. As the title suggests, it tells the story of Sheldon’s (Iain Armitage) brother Georgie (Montana Jordan) and his wife Mandy (Emily Osment), who move in with Mandy’s parents with their baby.
ProSieben has every reason to give the series a good TV slot: in the US, the series has been very successful so far. Season 2 has already been confirmed. So The Big Bang Theory fans can look forward to plenty of new episodes in this country too.
Before ProSieben: you can stream Georgie & Mandy here earlier
If you don’t want to wait for the ProSieben launch, you’re in luck: Joyn will be streaming the new episodes a week before they air on TV starting April 28.
