The Walking Dead series Daryl Dixon is not over after six episodes. Even Carol is back in season 2 of the spin-off. You can find all the info here
Although The Walking Dead has long since ended, the zombie saga continues with new spin-offs. How the story continues for Daryl (Norman Reedus) is revealed in the series The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, which you can stream on Magenta TV since December 8, 2023.
With its fresh French setting, novel zombies and exciting characters, the Daryl series has thrilled like no other The Walking Dead spin-off this year. But after just 6 episodes, a nasty cliffhanger and the promise of a great character return in season 2, it’s already over. The good news: Daryl Dixon will be back sooner than expected
Start: When is The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 2 coming?
Shooting for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 2 began directly after production of the first season in spring 2023. Filming was still underway in France in December. It has already been confirmed that season 2 will be shown on US broadcaster AMC and on Magenta TV in Germany as early as 2024.
A specific start date has not yet been revealed. First, the eagerly awaited Rick Grimes spin-off The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live will be launched on February 25, 2024 on US broadcaster AMC. The 2nd season of Daryl Dixon could then be shown either in summer or fall 2024
Plot: In season 2, Daryl Dixon and Carol will be reunited
Official details about the specific plot of season 2 are not yet available. However, the first teaser and the end of the first season already give some exciting hints about the sequel. It will be called The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol

The last scene of season 1 already gave it away: From season 2, Melissa McBride will also be part of the spin-off’s main cast and will once again be seen as Carol. Carol will first investigate Daryl’s disappearance in Maine and then travel to France herself to find him in the course of the new episodes.
With Carol’s return, The Walking Dead spin-off, which was once announced as a joint Daryl-Carol adventure, returns to its original idea
This reveals the ending to The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 2
At the end of the first season, Daryl Dixon faces a dilemma on the beach in Normandy. Should he sail back to America on a boat, leaving Laurent (Louis Puech Scigliuzzi) and Isabelle (Clémence Poésy) behind? Or does he decide to stay in France as a surrogate father to the boy wonder?
Both Laurent and the other members of the religious community Union de l’espoir, who are staying in the nest on Mont-Saint-Michel, can make good use of Daryl’s support. Because the danger posed by Marion Genet (Anne Charrier) and her paramilitary group Pouvoir des Vivants has not yet been averted.
Genet’s plan is to unite and dominate post-apocalyptic France. In order to achieve this, it confronts its enemies with violence and experimentally enhanced super zombies. These running and absolutely dangerous undead will appear in greater numbers in season 2, as a set video has already revealed.
As Laurent is a religious figure with a large following, he is a thorn in Genet’s side. Should they discover the location of the nest in season 2, a devastating war could be unleashed over the monastery bastion in Normandy. Whether Daryl and Carol can stop the powerful villainess and her army, we will hopefully find out in season 2
