Less than a month later, the verdict is known. As the Hollywood Reporter reports, a jury in New York has decided that Majors is guilty on two of four charges. He now faces up to a year in prison. However, the sentence has not yet been determined. It is expected to be announced in February 2024.

Majors first appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe at the end of season 1 of Loki and then took on the role two more times: in the aforementioned Ant-Man sequel and season 2 of Loki. At least one further appearance was planned in the fifth Avengers film, which even had his character in the title.

As the Hollywood Reporter notes, the film will no longer be called Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. Instead, it currently has the working title Avengers 5. Marvel now has two options: Either recast the character or completely write him out of all future projects. Both are possible
