Neil Marshall (The Descent) would later direct two episodes of Game of Thrones, which even earned him an Emmy nomination. His first feature-length film also knows its way around fantasy, blood and battles. Dog Soldiers was a small, low-budget production from 2002 that quickly became a cult film.
On January 18, the action thriller will be released for the first time in 4K in a stylish steelbook and can already be pre-ordered now.

Dog Soldiers brings new blood to the werewolf genre
In the 80s, the werewolf genre was booming and produced some classics such as American Werewolf. Dog Soldiers is a late latecomer to this era, but it brought a good dose of fresh blood to the genre. It avoids the typical clichés and doesn’t talk about the curse of werewolf transformation or how bad it is to be a werewolf. In Dog Soldiers, the focus is on the soldiers fighting for survival against the beasts
