Piquant high society secrets and lots of stars: That’s what Feud season 2 is all about
Following his Netflix successes Dahmer – Monster: The Story of Jeffrey Dahmer and The Watcher, Ryan Murphy is now the producer behind Feud season 2, which switches the setting from Hollywood to New York in the 1970s. Here, legendary writer and author Truman Capote (Tom Hollander from The White Lostus) befriends several high society women – and betrays them.
Capote uses all the filthiest secrets of the filthy rich housewives for his novel Answered Prayers. He thus incurs the wrath of the New York divas he calls Swans – including Babe Paley (Naomi Watts), Slim Keith (Diane Lane), C.Z. Guest (Chloë Sevigny), Lee Radziwill (Calista Flockhart) and Ann Woodward (Demi Moore).
The cast also includes some other familiar faces from Ryan Murphy’s series cosmos, such as Jessica Lange (Feud and American Horror Story), Molly Ringwald (Dahmer) and the two American Horror Story: NYC stars Russell Tovey and Joe Mantello. The latter was also seen in Murphy’s Netflix series Hollywood and The Watcher.
The eight episodes of the sequel will be directed by Gus van Sant, Max Winkler and Jennifer Lynch, while the scripts were written by Brothers & Sisters creator Jon Robin Baitz.
